Meet Katie
Hello! My name is Katie. I have been a counselor in Illinois since 2008 . In addition to being School Counselor, I also work part-time at a Private Practice that specializes in play therapy. Previous work experience includes being a Team Leader & Counselor for a Community/School Based Counseling Mental Health Program at a Community Counseling Agency for 9 years.
My passion is working with children! I love finding fun & interactive ways to teach children skills that will help increase their overall success. My counseling practices include whole school initiatives, individual & small group counseling, workshops, and community engagement. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to share my love of counseling!
I am married to the love of my life and best friend. When I am not working, you can find me in Wisconsin, spending time with family ( I have THE CUTEST nieces & nephew), redecorating my home, crafting in my basement, or shopping for new clothes! ;-)
